Julianne's First Birthday Party - Garden Tea Party
We have a super small space at our apartment so turning my vision for Julianne’s party into a reality was not the easiest. All the items I bought were from Amazon because I wanted easy returns (in case something didn’t work out) and fast shipping!
My go-to for filling a space is always fresh flowers. So, I went to Kroger and just picked up a few bouquets and used stemless wine glasses as small vases. Also, I think a big thing here was the lace table cloth. Our apartment has a very brown textured looking countertop but I wanted to brighten the room so the table cloth definitely helped with that.
The Menu
Main:
Croissant Sandwiches with rotisserie chicken breast, provolone, butter lettuce
Chick-Fil-A nuggets (you can buy a small party tray for under $30!!)
Fruit - strawberries, grapes, raspberries
Desserts:
Almond croissants
Kouign-Amann (found these at a local French bakery and they are sooooo good, I had to grab them for the party)
Lemon bars
Macarons
Mini merengues
Overall, this kid is SO worth celebrating. So, the most important thing was just making sure she got to smile all day, which she did. Sweet angel had a blast and now we have photos and videos for the baby albums that we’ll treasure forever.
