Get To Know Me

Hi! I’m Kimberly Arnold. I am a lover of love, people, food, clothes, and all the little wonderful things about life. I am saved by grace, fully redeemed, and entirely loved by God. I married my best friend, Brian, and a short year later we had a beautiful daughter, Julianne.

I am 100% Ecuadorian, although my family would argue otherwise, as I was born and raised in the US. I grew up in a small town in Wyoming and then after high school I went to TCU where I met my husband and fell in love with Texas. Now, a full Texanite, I live with my little family in Dallas.

The most amazing part of my life is, of course, Julianne Kate. She was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bone Disease). By the time she was 5 months old she had fractured more than 20 times. But here’s the amazing part: She is incredibly strong. She’s the bravest person I know. She’s gorgeous and happy. She has taught us to love deeper than I’ve ever experienced and she’s the light of my world. She has brought me closer to the Lord and made me thankful for every single day.

So, all this kind of ties in to what I’m here for. Girl’s Best Friend is my clever way of saying that anything can be a girl’s best friend: diamonds, shoes, clothes, a good facemark, SPF, a man, a baby! (you get it). But ultimately, my hope is that Girl’s Best Friend is a space for women to inspire other women to feel confident. I’ve seen hard days that make the good ones seem numbered, but what I’ve learned is that they don’t have to be. Hug your baby, text your sister, squeeze your curves into those jeans, just live your life with confidence. Along the way, I want to know who you are, and what you love, and who you love, and everything in between. I’ll do my part in sharing that all with you as well :)
